I was at the petstore today and I was looking at the cages they had. I looked at the price of a 20 gal. L, and HOLY CRAP it was $50!!! And it had nothing with it just the cage itself.40 gal. breeder was $100!!! I think that they are WAY over priced...

Its somewhere around there, but I will make my enclosure for my corn. I will make it a bit bigger than a 20 L, and it will have a rock wall in it. cant wait

I would make an cage for my herps if they were 400$ for a 20 gal but over here its like 20 for a 20 gal. i find that a 400$ for a 20 gal is WAY OVER THE PRICE IT SHOULD BE.

For my corn.... I got her a nice cage and everything, but she is still a LOT healthier and happier in the smallish plastic box she in now (small in comparison to the cage she had).
But yeah, they are overpriced, but I'm lazy and so would rather just buy a cage, glass tanks are much more expensive than wooden ones... i think...

Glass tank for a tenner amber off a car boot with a lid and light fitting (no light included). and a 4ft long viv is about £75 (i know i got 5 of em).
Anyone else from the UK want cheap, but good quality vivs let me know and i'll point you in the right direction.

Anyone from the UK can use www.livefood.co.uk for all your reptile, and some amphib needs. The prices are good, and their stock is extensive, the only drawback is the frozen food deviley prices, unless your ordering say 700 mice/rats etc, in which case it's worth it. PS The vivs they use are excallant, this is the left hand side of mine, just to give you an idea of size,
