A helpful, warning post was posted on ssnakess, and I think any crestie owners, and anyone that knows anyone with cresties should take a look at it... www.ssnakess.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=60702Also, a slightly less serious warning, it has recently come to my attention that hand feeding cresties, can be a bad thing. After being bitten AGAIN by Gizmo, my hungriest little crestie, I realised that he bites me, because I hand feed the cresties babyfood from my fingers. Although the bites do not hurt, I imagine it would get annoying!

I'm surprised about the biting. I have persoanlly hand fed my crestie since he was born nearly every day with no problems. How do you offer it exaclty?
As for this disease. I have heard of it, but unfortunately vets have trouble findiong the exact cure etc for it. The crestie is a relatively new species in some cases, and the disease is still being tested/studied to a certain extant. I personally woulnt worry too super duper much. But it is still definetly a good thing to look at and watch out for!

Yeah, but its better than to be safe than sorry, as I'm sure some owners have found out Its only one crestie that bites, and she is getting to be a fat little gecko, I think she is in a growing phase. I offer it them mostly whenever I get them out, which changes depending on a few things. I feel a bit stupid for not guessing this could happen, but I am happy they are clever enough to recognise my fingers as food
