Ahhh right.... he was young, he would calm down, go get him back now No offence or anything but if you gave away a crestie because it was too mean, what are you gonna do with a boa?

They are all jumpy when young, and calm down with age. If you would have given it a chance then you could get one that is as tame as mine, excited to ocome out for up to 30 minutes a day.
yea what she said ;D

My thoughts exactly, darn parents won't let me get a snake, or another few lizards (better make that a lot ;D). Sorry to hear about that, poor little guy. It's a shame he had to go to the pet store. This is odd, you mom must have been handling him bad or he was under a month old to bite. And their bites don't even hurt, its just surprising. Sorry to hear about that

Yeah sorry to hear that! Get her a tokay for christmas, then she might re-think about the crestie That sucks, my paerents are mostly ok now, I can keep my crickets and mealworms in the house, my only constraint is space... and money... mostly. Even my Dad has a corn snake now!

she says if i want to,i can get a leopard gecko and work my way up?weird, crestys are great begginers. She really doesnt care about my snake and soon to be snakes, and my poor brother,he really liked him.I guess I'll ask for a tokay for my b-day.That'll teach her.
BTW:He came from the petstore and they took good care of him.For that,I'm happy.

Parents are just difficult! Go with the leo if you want a gecko, they are great little lizards, but are very different from cresties... obviously Maybe you should get her to talk to a crestie breeder? Hopefully they could get youa calmer crestie, and tell your mom how they calm down with age. Good luck either way

Too bad you had to get rid of it. If i ever got that close to keeping a crested gecko. Or convincing my mom to get one. I wouldnt give it up.

Yay, its kinda a shame though, its nice to watch them grow! Be careful when ya get the adult, make sure you get a tame one!
