I have just bought a pacman frog and I have had him for almost two weeks now. This is my first one, and I got him from petco and he is probably a little less than 2 inches "around." I have got everything that he needs with light and shallow water dish and all that stuff, but my question is that he hasn't eat anything yet and I have a small food dish and I have the mealworms and waxworms and I have also had some crickets and I also tired giving him a live small goldfish, but he doesn't seem to want to eat! I know about their skin getting hard to keep moisture in if the temperature gets to extreme but his skin isn't getting hard or anything, and the temp isn't extreme, and he seems like he is doing great, but I havn't seen him eat or get any water, so I was just wondering if I should be concerned at all, and if there is something that I should be doing different to feed him. sorry, that got kinda long. haha Thanks.

I don't know much at all about frogs, but I will try to help! How old is he? If frogs are anything like reptiles, I would say don't worry until he starts loosing weight. Also give him as much alone time as possible while not eating.

I'm not exactly sure how old he is, but I was thinking about going back to petco and asking them, but before when I tried to ask them some questions before they didn't know very much.

I would say crickets but it depends on the pacman. You should try all tytpes of things to get him to start eating. For humidity i just mist alot but it helpss if your lid isnt screen. If it is just cover half with suran wrap.

Well he finally ate. It was a cricket, and I also think he ate a couple mealworms as well so thats good. I usually mist about 3 times a day so thats probably good. How often do pacman frogs eat or how often should they eat?
