The Fire Belly Newt
Description:
This newt is brown to black and has a bright red and black stomach.
Habitat:
These newt can have either a half land and half water set-up or a fully aquatic set-up. Personally i use both of the set-up but ive had more success with the more water than land set-up. The newt need to be moist at all time so they dont dry up. Room temperature is fine for both the air and the water. Provide some plants and tons of hiding spots for your newt.
Diet:
They should be fed bloodworms, shrimp, fish flakes and floating pellets. U can also feed them crickets but not all of them will eat them.
Habits:
Very nice active pets that swim around the tank looking for food. Usually swimming with there tails.
Comments:
Very good begginner pet for a child or adult. Also there cheap price makes them very appealing. Not to mention the colorful colors.
