Very cute, I remember when my little Spike was that young. Now he's almost 10" tip to tip. I also like the geckoworld caresheet but I also created a caresheet of my own if anyone is interested.
What color morph is he? Looks like a flame, fire, or a buckskin. I'm partially color blind so its hard to tell.
Don't worry about babyfood at that younf of an age, they generally should be eating much more proteien in their diets anyway. Once older, try offering some peach babyfood on the tip of his nose. He will lick it off and most likely contiue eating. The readon I mention peach babyfood is it tends to be the most appreciated and liked.
Once again, adorable crestie. Good luck with him!

Watch out for that. I k now my Spike is a little stinker. He comes out everday for about 15 minutes or so just for his babbyfood treat and a pat on the head. I open the lid and he scampers up to the top. Then poops down into the corner of the cage and hope onto me, leaving me no chance to close the lid on him. they are really great creatures.

HaHa! My thoughts exactly. I plan on a future breeding project with a guy at a rep show I've been talking to. He's got 2 or 3 nice red and oranges, and an oarnage harlequin morph. He's willing to get me a pretty good deal on em. For Christmas I'm getting a custom 36" x 12" x 24" open front enclosure that could easily house 4 for me.
They seem easier to handle then leos too dont them? They stick to you better so its easier to hold them and they arent as quick. Plus they have that soft skin

Well yours is prolly still a baby-juvie right? They go through a little spurt once they reach adulthood, and when they get to it seems like they figure "o heck I'm bigger now nothing to worry about!" so they get much more laid back. It seemed like overnight Spike became tame enough to literally grab out of the enclosure and carry around for a half an hour with no troubles and little movement but to hop onto my head and move down my back. Kepp on handling, offer treats like babyfood when outside the cage, and dont stress him out and that little bugger will trust you in no time at all

lol thanx! I got him out, he seemed surprised more than anything! He jumped onto his cage lid twice, but didn't run away. He seemed a lot calmer out of his cage, he didn't look stressed, maybe a little scared, but I only had him out a few minutes ;D
