Theres no such thing as an indian day gecko. They all come from madagascar. My favorite day gecko is the peathingy day gecko. And my giant day but there more common. The madagascar day is nice but is not as colorful as the gold dust or peathingys. Also a really color ful day is the Phelsuma guimbeaui guimbeaui.

Yah thats the v-nigra . Common names dont mean anything. It comes from an island just off the coast of madagascar. on the comoros islands. I know an experience herper thats has a female. he payed 100$ for it. Its actually pretty rare for such a normal color of green.

They are fun to watch and photograph. They are active, hardy and colorful. I enjoy mine. U should get a giant day gecko or a gold dust. TO great beginners that are colorful and active.

Most pet stores have them. The problem is most of the top breeders or day geckos come from Europe.
